Healing Den
Healing Den
The Healing Den is where the colony handles sickness, injury, treatment, quarantine access, and healer assignment.
What the Healing Den Handles
- Sick or injured pets needing care.
- Assigned healers and treatment options.
- Herb use and prepared medicine supplies.
- Quarantine routing for contagious or risky patients.
- Warnings when the colony lacks space, supplies, or healthy healers.
Assigned Healers
Healers can help treat colony members when they are eligible. A healer may be blocked or less useful if they are sick, injured, exhausted, starving, dehydrated, quarantined, pregnant, dead, or busy elsewhere.
Assigned healers can sometimes help automatically, but they still need resources and safe conditions. A healer is not a magical green sparkle generator with paws.
Treatment Supplies
Treatment may require herbs or prepared medicine. Fresh herbs can be useful but may spoil. Dried herbs last longer but may be weaker.

Quarantine
Some illnesses or conditions may require quarantine. Quarantine keeps risky patients separated from the rest of the colony.

- Allergies or pollen trouble.
- Mold cough or damp-den sickness.
- Heat exhaustion.
- Algae sickness from bad water.
- Frost cough or cold stress.
- Rotgut from unsafe food or contamination.
- Parasites.
- Smoke sickness.
Colony Pulse
Untreated sickness, low herbs, unsafe water, quarantine pressure, or healer trouble may appear through Colony Pulse.

Echo Note - Medicine routing
Healing depends on both supplies and eligible healers. Herbs, dried herbs, prepared medicine, quarantine stock, and travel-prep herbs should all route through the proper healing systems instead of being treated like one mystery leaf pile.

Echo Note - Training aftercare
Training injuries may need rest, herbs, healer attention, or quarantine if sickness exposure is involved. Do not send a freshly bruised pet straight back into the stump arena.
