Pet Needs and Condition
Pet Needs and Condition
Every pet has daily needs. Ignoring them can create illness, weakness, failed actions, or death.
Core Vitals
- Health – Reduced by injuries, sickness, battles, neglect, and hazards.
- Hunger – Refilled with species-appropriate food. Rabbits do not eat meat.
- Thirst – Refilled with safe water. Tainted or stagnant water can cause problems.
- Energy – Used for travel, work, training, and survival actions.
- Mood – Affected by care, danger, colony conditions, and other events.
Environmental Pressure
Weather, biome, dirty bedding, overcrowding, spoiled food, poor water, pests, parasites, smoke, humidity, heat, and cold can all contribute to sickness or poor recovery.
Before Sending a Pet Out
Check food, water, energy, health, injuries, sickness, mutations, gear, herbs, and carrying capacity before hunting, exploring, scouting, fishing, or fighting.
Treatment
Injured or sick pets may need the healing den. Contagious or especially risky cases may need quarantine.
