Life Stages
Pets grow through life stages, and each stage changes what they need and what they can do.
Level 1: Newborn
Newborn kits remain in the nursery with their family. They are vulnerable and require careful support.
Level 2: Young Pet or Apprentice
After about seven days, a surviving newborn grows into a young pet. This is the caretaker and mentorship stage. Apprentices can begin preparing for future work.
Level 3: Adult
After about another seven days, a surviving young pet becomes an adult. Adults can perform full colony jobs and access adult systems when otherwise eligible.
Future Aging Depth
Feral Rise is designed to treat pets as living creatures rather than permanent statues. Additional senior and elder depth may continue to expand as the overhaul develops.
