Herb Stores

The Herb Stores hold the plants and treatment supplies used by healers. Herbs are stored as individual resource stacks, allowing different herb types and conditions to matter.

Uses

• Treat injuries, illnesses, and other conditions in the Healing Den or Quarantine Den.


• Restock protected herb-preparation slots for scouts and other pets heading into danger.


• Support automatic treatment by assigned healers when a patient needs care.

Freshness and Storage

Herbs do not last forever. Heat, damp conditions, and poor storage can shorten their useful life. Drying or preserving herbs may help them last longer, although preserved supplies may not always be as strong as fresh ones.

Alerts

The Colony Pulse can warn the colony when herbs are low, close to spoiling, or already unusable.

Tips

• Collect a variety of herbs. One enormous mound of the wrong leaf is still the wrong leaf.


• Restock healer and scouting supplies before a crisis.


• Keep storage conditions in mind during humid or hot weather.
