Territory Map
The Territory Map is the living world around the colonies. It is made of biome tiles that can be discovered, claimed, patrolled, fortified, harvested, challenged, and sometimes lost again when a colony grows careless.
Reading the Map
- Biome – Forest, swamp, beach, desert, snowy ground, mountain, cave, house, barn, and other areas can support different risks and resources.
- Ownership – Tiles may be neutral, controlled by a player colony, or occupied by another group.
- Fortification – A fortified tile is harder to take and contributes more protection.
- Patrol and Familiarity – Activity helps a colony hold territory instead of slowly losing control.
- Icons and Tooltips – Map icons reveal useful details without forcing the whole page to become a wall of tiny wilderness paperwork.
Discovering the World
Unmapped areas remain hidden until pets push outward. New colonies begin with starter territory in their home biome. Scouting can reveal routes and tiles beyond the den, while hunting and exploring help pets become familiar with nearby land.
Territory Matters
More territory can mean larger resource pools, more routes, more fishing or gathering opportunities, and stronger defenses. Losing tiles can reduce those advantages. Ecology, drought, danger, raids, weather, and overuse may all affect what a region can provide.
