The world of Feral Rise is not a vending machine wearing a forest costume. Food, fish, water, prey, herbs, and other supplies respond to weather, biome, season, danger, overuse, and larger ecological events.
What Can Change?
- Scarcity – Repeated hunting, fishing, or harvesting can thin local supplies.
- Booms – Some resources may temporarily become more common.
- Migration – Prey and predators can move when conditions change.
- Drought and Water Trouble – Water levels, fish pools, and drinking safety may suffer.
- Algae and Contamination – Water areas can become unhealthy or difficult to use.
- Predator Pressure – Scarcity can make dangerous animals bolder around hunters, fishers, and colonies.
Colony Choices Matter
A colony that gathers carefully and prepares for bad seasons has better odds than one that strips every nearby tile bare and then acts surprised when the wilderness sends an invoice written in claw marks.
