Harvesting resources
Harvesting Resources
Harvesting gathers useful materials from territory and nearby wilderness. It connects to ecology, storage, crafting, and colony maintenance.
What Harvesting Can Provide
Harvesting may produce:
- Wood, stone, reeds, clay, moss, or other building materials.
- Berries, roots, mushrooms, or other gathered foods.
- Herbs, seeds, or garden-related supplies.
- Crafting materials, odd finds, or discovery hints.
Resource Stacks
Harvested supplies may enter storage as stacks with type, amount, freshness, quality, or other details. A stack of fresh berries and a stack of questionable wet berries are not the same tiny pile wearing different hats.
Ecology and Depletion
Repeated harvesting can pressure an area. Weather, season, tile condition, pollution, overuse, pests, and nearby dangers may affect what is available.
Tile Context
Territory tiles, biome, familiarity, patrols, and ownership can all matter. A safe familiar tile is not the same as a contested, neglected, enemy-held, or dangerous tile.

Harvested materials feed into repairs, crafting, bedding, upgrades, tools, and fortification. A pile of wood is not just a pile of wood. It is tomorrow's roof argument.
