Territory can be reinforced to make it harder for rivals and dangers to push into colony land.

What Fortifying Does

• Improves the tile's defensive strength.


• Makes enemy challenges more difficult.


• Helps the colony protect important routes and resource areas.

Who Can Help?

Builders are the colony's main fortification specialists. Warriors may also assist with building work. Role permissions, materials, weather, and the current condition of the tile matter.

Materials

Fortifying consumes colony resource stacks such as wood and stone. These supplies must actually exist in storage. A colony cannot reinforce a wall using optimism, three damp leaves, and a strongly worded note.

Patrol Connection

Fortifications still need attention. A neglected tile can decay over time even if it was once heavily reinforced.
