Wanderers
Wanderers
Wanderers are lone pets encountered beyond the safety of the den. They may be discovered during scouting and other world activity, giving the colony a chance to invite them in.
Why Wanderers Matter
Wanderers are one of the ways colonies can gain new members outside normal adoption and breeding. They may arrive with unusual appearances, stats, traits, or mutations.
Encountering a Wanderer
- Outdoor activity can reveal a wanderer in the world.
- The colony may have the option to invite them in or allow them to move on.
- Ignoring a wanderer usually means losing that opportunity.
After Adoption
An adopted wanderer becomes a real colony member. They need normal care, may receive a role, can train and breed when eligible, and can still become sick, injured, or die.
Wanderer-Only Appearances
Some appearances are exclusive to wanderers rather than the normal adoption page.

Scouting Connection
Wanderers are connected to the wider wilderness system. Scouting can also reveal routes, territory, rivals, predators, and other events, so discovering a stranger is not automatically the most dangerous thing waiting outside.
