Siege Aftermath
Siege Aftermath
Siege Aftermath is the cleanup and recordkeeping stage after a hostile raid or den assault.
What Aftermath Can Show
Aftermath records may explain:
- Which enemies were defeated or survived.
- Which pets were injured, exhausted, or killed.
- Which supplies were used or lost.
- Whether the colony gained rewards, damage, warnings, or future consequences.
Dead Defenders
A pet who dies during a raid should not remain in a live siege slot or block reserve advancement. The roster should remove dead defenders automatically and move to the next valid pet when possible.
Their death may also connect to:
- Graveyard records.
- Deceased Care if the colony must handle remains.
- Faux/system messages to the appropriate owner.
Lingering Pressure
Even after the active fight ends, the colony may need to recover. Injured pets, damaged defenses, low supplies, contaminated remains, or frightened members can all create follow-up work.
Colony Pulse
Important aftermath warnings may appear through the Colony Pulse. Check Pulse after a raid, especially if defenders died or supplies were heavily used.
Tips
Do not treat victory as the end of the problem. Victory with three injured defenders, no herbs, and a dead thing near the water stores is not the forest equivalent of a clean invoice.
