Colony Archive

The Colony Archive is the long-term record side of colony life. It helps preserve important colony history, major events, deaths, stories, and notable changes.

[h2]What the Archive Can Hold</h2]
Archive-style records may include:

  • Colony diary entries.

  • Major survival events.

  • Deaths, old-age passing, graveyard, and memorial context.

  • Raid or siege aftermath.</li]
[li]Snail stories, bonding, mourning, trails, and Caucus receipts where supported.</li]
[li]Fishing records, strange catches, and ecology notes.</li]
[li]Leadership changes, collapse, ruins, or major recovery events.</li]

[h2]Archive vs. Activity Feed</h2]
The Activity Feed is a recent-event log. The Archive is more of a preserved history layer.

A small resource gain may only belong in the Activity Feed. A leader dying, a colony collapsing, an elder passing, or a bonded snail mourning might deserve a longer record.

[h2]Archive vs. Colony Pulse</h2]
Colony Pulse warns about problems that need attention. The Archive preserves history after things happen.

[h2]Why It Matters</h2]
Feral Rise colonies can survive, struggle, lose members, grow families, mourn, recover, and change over time. The Archive keeps those events from vanishing into the shrubbery.
