Snail Stories
Snail Stories
Snail Stories record important moments in a snail's life. These entries help turn care actions and system changes into a readable history.
What Can Create a Story
Story entries may be written for:
- Bonding with a pet.
- A bonded companion dying.
- Mourning beginning or ending.
- Comfort actions during mourning.
- Trail finds and special discoveries.
- Entering or leaving Caucus stasis.
- Listing cancellation, expiry, or sale when supported.
Why Stories Matter
Stories give snails continuity. A snail that mourned a companion, found something on a trail, or entered the Caucus should have a history that players can look back on.
Former Companion Context
When a snail mourns, stories may mention the lost companion. These entries should use the appropriate former companion record, not a broken active bond pointing at a dead pet.
