The Colony Tank is the colony-facing snail area. It lets snails appear in a shared colony context when supported by the snail system.
What the Tank Is For
The Colony Tank can help players:
- See which snails are resting or visible in the colony tank.
- Review snail status labels such as mourning, bonded, listed, or resting where supported.
- Open connected snail pages such as Habitat, Registry, Stories, Bonding, or Trails.
- Understand which snails are part of the colony tank without losing personal-snail ownership rules.
Mourning in the Tank
Mourning snails should remain visible in tank context. A grieving snail may appear with a mourning label or former companion note rather than vanishing from the page.
Access and Ownership
The Colony Tank should respect ownership and colony access. A tank page should not allow players to care for, move, or manipulate snails they do not control.
Renderer and Labels
The shared snail renderer helps keep visuals consistent. Labels and badges should help explain a snail's status without making the page unreadable.
Future Decorations
Tank decorations and deeper tank customization can be expanded later. This page currently documents the shared visibility and status system, not the full future decoration pass.
