Pet Jobs and Stats
Pet Jobs and Stats
Pet jobs decide what a pet can do for the colony. Stats decide how naturally suited the pet may be for certain work and danger.
Core Stats
- Strength - Carrying, building, direct fighting, hauling, and physical work.
- Agility - Dodging, scouting, quick movement, and travel safety.
- Intellect - Healing, planning, caretaking, building judgment, and careful work.
Jobs
- Leader - Colony management and major decisions.
- Healer - Treatment, herbs, quarantine help, and illness care.
- Caretaker - Mentors young pets and supports families.
- Builder - Repairs, fortification, upgrades, and shelter work.
- Scout - Outside travel, patrols, tile discovery, and risk-taking.
- Warrior - Fighting, defending, and dangerous encounters.
- Wetnurse - Supports vulnerable kits and nursing families.
- Reserve - Backup successor or inactive support role.
- Recruit - New or unassigned member still finding a place.
Combat Level and Battle Pages
Battle and training pages may show combat level or battle-readiness information. This helps players choose fairer fights and avoid sending a weak pet into a dangerous encounter.
Combat level is calculated from more than one thing. Experience and stats both matter, and future gear or condition modifiers may affect how safe a pet really is.
Eligibility Changes Dynamically
A pet that was available earlier may become unavailable later. Pregnancy, sleeping, quarantine, sickness, injuries, exhaustion, starvation, dehydration, death, or being busy elsewhere can all affect whether the pet can act.
