Overview
The Snail Spiral is the main hub for all snail-related systems. It allows users to view all snails they own, see their current status at a glance, and navigate to other snail features.
Purpose
The Snail Spiral exists to prevent confusion and dead ends by centralizing snail management into one page.
Snail List & Status Display
Each snail is shown with a name and a status row above it.
The status row uses grouped icons separated by vertical bars (|) to communicate information quickly.
Example:

Bark Dot
Status Icon Groups
Group 1: Bond / Fox Status
These icons indicate the snail’s relationship to a fox.
🦊 — Snail is bonded to a fox
🦊❓ — Bonding has begun but the bond is not finalized
💔🦊 — The bonded fox has died (snail is mourning)
(no icon) — Snail has never bonded to a fox
Only one bond icon will ever appear.
Group 2: Care & Needs
These icons indicate the snail needs attention.
🍃 — Hungry
💧 — Needs water
🌱 — Needs soil
😵 — Low energy
⚠️ — Multiple needs are critical
If two or more needs are low, ⚠️ replaces individual icons.
Group 3: Emotional / Special States
🕯️ — Mourning
🧬 — In breeding tank
🏛️ — In colony tank
💤 — Resting / inactive
