Inventory

Your Inventory holds items, supplies, cosmetics, equipment, and other objects you own.

Item Types

Inventory may include:

  • Cosmetics - Protected appearance items used for dress-up or display.

  • Functional equipment - Bags, armor, tools, weapons, or gear with gameplay effects.

  • Consumables - Food, herbs, water-related items, or usable supplies.

  • Materials - Crafting, building, repair, or colony resources.

  • Special items - Event, quest, lore, or system-specific objects.

Stacks

Some items are stored in stacks. Stack details may matter, including type, amount, freshness, quality, ownership, listing status, or other metadata.

Using Items

Items may be usable, equipable, assignable, sellable, listable, giftable, craftable, or purely collectible depending on their type.

Caucus Listing Holds

If an item or stack is listed in The Caucus, it is held aside while the listing is active. It cannot be used, equipped, assigned, spent, or listed elsewhere until the listing ends.

Gear Versus Dress-Up

Functional equipment belongs to survival systems. Dress-up cosmetics belong to the protected fun layer. An item can have artwork without being just cosmetic if it changes gameplay.

Echo Note - Visual use versus functional use

Some items may be usable visually without being equipped for stats. An item shown in Dress Up is not automatically active gear for carrying, battle, travel, repairs, or survival.

Echo Note - Locked or held items

Items may become locked, held, listed, equipped, assigned, or otherwise unavailable depending on the system. If an action says the item will leave usable inventory, believe the tiny warning sign.
