The map tracks explored land, owned territory, patrol condition, contested areas, and routes outward.
Quick steps
Scout outward to discover new tiles and opportunities.
Patrol or revisit owned territory so neglected land does not become vulnerable.
Occupied or dangerous tiles may require a deliberate challenge instead of an automatic claim.
More about this area
Reading the map
A tile is a real place with a biome, coordinates, ownership, familiarity, patrol condition, fortification, resources, and possible danger. Open the tile rather than treating every map marker as the same action.
Owned does not mean permanently safe. Familiarity and patrol activity help keep connected territory healthy; neglect and depleted fortification can make land vulnerable or return it to neutral.
Scout marks are leads, not guaranteed ownership. Follow the route with an eligible scout to discover or secure connected land.
Choosing where to go
Start with land connected to the colony’s existing border. Disconnected or occupied targets may require a different route, challenge, or recovery action.
Neutral connected land may be claimable, while land held by another colony uses a deliberate territory challenge. Read the target’s ownership before committing a pet.
Biome, distance, weather, ecology, and hostile pressure can change supplies, travel strain, encounter risk, and what kind of preparation is useful.
Keeping territory
Patrolling, searching, gathering, hunting, exploring, and scouting can refresh familiarity or activity when the page reports that connection.
Fortification protects a border but does not replace patrol. Territory Health shows neglected, contested, disconnected, or critical tiles that need attention.
After any map action, return to the tile or Territory Health and confirm the ownership, condition, remaining attempts, and actual result.
